Of course, we are talking about the version of WLPG that I actually have, which I am sure is not the latest version. Previously, my old Photo Gallery was the default for many, but not all, types of photo files. I had not set this up; this just happened to be how it already was, for whatever reason. I do know how to work with updates and update history, and frequently do so. I do not see in update history that I have ever received any updates for either PG or WLPG, although my old PG itself does indicate that I do have all its updates. My WLPG does not seem to have a way of checking for updates on it specifically, and none appear in my general update history either. So I guess I will just go with having my version of WLPG as the default, as mentioned, and see I have further problems.
